Kidz Corner is under the stewardship of the committed and compassionate Ms. Azizi, whose extensive professional background spans numerous years within the Arlington Public Schools system. With a tenure exceeding six years, Ms. Azizi has garnered expertise as both an art and early education teacher. Her comprehensive experience includes not only raising her own children but also serving as a long-term substitute teacher with specialization in Montessori, pre-kindergarten, and kindergarten education. Furthermore, her rich artistic background is a testament to her creative mindset, which she leverages to inspire children to embrace their expressive potential to the fullest.
Our Mission
At Kidz Corner, our overarching mission is to cultivate a nurturing and secure environment where children can partake in developmentally appropriate play experiences. We adhere to a play-based curriculum that places emphasis on early academics, literacy, science, social-emotional development, and creativity. The daily schedule is meticulously crafted to strike a harmonious balance between structured and unstructured activities, tailored to address the unique needs of each child. Our daily agenda encompasses a diverse range of activities, including but not limited to art engagement, building blocks, storytelling, dramatic play, and sensory experiences. Outdoor play is actively encouraged to foster gross motor skill development and promote overall physical health.
